Ölfus Cluster ses., is a non-profit organization. ÖC's main goal is to promote job creation, innovation and research with a main focus on the Ölfus area. ÖC works closely with the municipality and the business community in the area and has extensive knowledge of the area's infrastructure.
Ölfus Cluster has extensive knowledge of the economy in the region and is working on the development of green industrial parks with a focus on circular economy and sustainable use of resources. The municipality is rich in natural resources, such as geothermal energy, groundwater, minerals, land and opportunities for wind energy production. The municipality has adopted both an energy policy and an environmental and resource policy, where emphasis is placed on the sustainable use of natural resources and a circular economy. ÖC is currently working on drafting an employment strategy for the municipality, which will be based on the municipality's environmental and energy policy.
Ölfus Cluster has headquarters and offices in Ölfus Town Hall and can offer office space for workshops or meetings as needed.
Ölfus Cluster has access and can provide the project with large and small meeting rooms for up to 400 people. Meeting rooms are equipped with teleconferencing equipment, and it is possible to record or stream directly from meetings or events.
